Color Withdrawal (T)
Summary: The Power translates into Ridiculous Compulsions...
Universe: Different Shade of Dino - Dino Thunder AU
Adam tried in vain to ignore the odd itch on his brain. But it was pretty difficult. Like the feeling when your arm falls asleep, or what he figured it would feel like if you could turn a mosquito’s buzzing into pure feeling, injected into your brain.
Stupid Color Withdrawal!
Kim had the audacity to sit across the room looking smug, arms crossed.
Just waiting for him to give in.
He eyed her black leather pants - really, just because she was the new Black Ranger gave her no right to be wearing stuff like that - jealously. He wouldn't do it. He wouldn't give in.
Itch itch itch itch itch itch...
“It's killing you, isn't it?”
He twitched. “No.” Barely audible through his gritted teeth, he knew it was only fuel to the flame of her amusement.
It was worse when Tommy walked in. “Bro, you just gotta give in. You're not going to win an argument about tradition with Kim, and she's the first Pink. You learned Hip Hop Akido with Zack because he was the first black. Kim's learning it now. And now, you have to go shopping with Kim.”
Adam grumbled under his breath, something about conspiracies and torture. “Doesn’t Kira have to go shopping, too?”
“Yup!” Kim tossed her keys in the air. “She’s coming with so put on your big boy pants and let’s go add some color to your closet.”
He rose and wandered to the guest bedroom he’d claimed as his after inadvertently becoming their fifth Dino Thunder Ranger. Tommy trailed behind him. “Hey, if Kim wants to pick up more leather… feel free to encourage that.”
“No shit.”
Tommy snickered. “You’re a whole new shade of pink, bro… but I’m pretty sure the Power doesn’t count blushes."
He ducked Adam’s swing.
